A few weeks ago, I assisted Boston wedding photographer Shang Chen at a wedding she was shooting.  The couple had a Halloween theme which was really fitting because the reception was in Salem, Massachusetts, where they once held the famous witch trials. I had sooo much fun at this wedding because it including a pumpkin-carving contest, a costume contest, a magician, and a talent show! I’m only putting up a few photos, but Shang has a lot more incredible wedding photos posted on her blog! Go visit!

The wedding procession was really unique and cute!  Since there were two aisles at the church, they walked down together!

Right after their first dance, he lifted her way up! I love it!!

This table came prepared by bringing Mr. Potato Head accessories instead! Cheers!

The magician went to every table and did some really neat card tricks!

The bride and groom had lots of guests who participated in the talent show, and the sword fighting was just the first act of many!

If you’ve ever seen the Rocky Horror Picture Show, then perhaps you know the Time Warp dance. That song brought back so many fond memories and was stuck in my head for hours after the wedding! Thanks for bringing me along Shang!
