A few months ago, I met up with a bunch of other local Las Vegas photographers for a shoot downtown. It was organized by the Chelsea Nicole, who is an amazing photographer and head of our Pictage User Group (If you’re a local photographer and not in a PUG yet, you need to be a part of your local chapter now! I’ve learned so much from my fellow photographers!). I had a great time exploring the funky downtown Arts District, which is just north of the Strip. It has a bit of an industrial feel to it, but there are lots of brightly colored graffiti walls to choose from.
We started in the late afternoon so we could get amazing light on the couple, which is my favorite time to shoot. As the sun went down, we experimented some video lights, which was really fun! I met up with another group of photographers recently to play with their video lights, and I post that soon!
The couple were so wonderful and patient with all of us shooting. I know most people get nervous in front of just one camera, now imagine 20!

Aren’t they just so cute! Proof that locations doesn’t always matter – this was shot in a parking lot!

These were shot with a video light.

Vegas at night is pretty cool, and you can see the Stratosphere in the background.

Super Cute!! I was bummed I couldn’t make it that night.
Can everyone just do this again next week while I’m in town? Looks like fun and a really nice outing!
These are great!
Great Job Emily, wish I could have been there to shoot too. Keep it up!
