This past Tuesday, I photographed a Yelp Elite event organized by Misti Y., the Las Vegas Yelp Community Manager. It’s definitely a change from my normal wedding and portrait work, and I had a ton of fun at this event. This event was open to Yelp Elite members only, which are premier Yelp members who have reviewed a lot of places. All the Yelpers who I met were really cool, since I could talk forever about good food. Yum!
The event was a scavenger hunt based on Clue, the board game, at the Artisan Hotel in downtown Las Vegas. I’d never been to the hotel, so it was an eye opener for me. It’s such an interesting hotel that I can’t describe in words, but when you step inside, you definitely feel like you are in a different century. The decor is just phenomenal and so different from any other hotel I’ve been to. It was definitely the perfect hotel to have a Clue scavenger hunt! There are paintings that cover almost every inch of the lobby and bar area, even on the ceiling! You definitely need to check out this hotel if you haven’t been there! The only downside of the hotel (at least for my job!) is that it is really dark inside for pictures, darker than most wedding receptions!
Read more about the event on the the Yelp Community blog. The rest of my pictures are posted in Yelp’s Flickr page.
Oh yes, and some of the Yelpers dressed up as characters from Clue!

Yay! I made it into your blog! =)
This looks like so much fun!!! I wouldn’t have been able to take any pictures cause I’d have been geeking out so much. Well done! Heading over to Flickr to snoop at all your other pics now
Great work, Emily!
