Rhonda and Christy live in Texas and planned for a small backyard wedding in Boston. Rhonda lived in Boston years ago and contacted me to do a day after session in Boston. Traditionally, day after sessions are for when the wedding day is so packed and the bride and groom don’t have time to take portraits on their wedding day, so they opt to do them a day later. Well Rhonda and Christy wanted a casual type shoot, so this was more like an engagement shoot. Rhonda and Christy are so fun! I really enjoyed hanging out with them, and was really sad when our session was over. Sometimes I find it hard to part with my couples because you get to know them so much during the session, and then it’s like saying bye to a good friend! I know this may sound like I’m crazy because I’ve only known them for a short amount of time, but I get that way sometimes. Yes, Rhonda and Christy are an amazing couple.
We started off near Congress Street, and slide into this alley. I can always depend on Boston to have cool alleys!

Rhonda and Christy met while working at Starbucks, so it was only fitting to have them pose with the logo! They wouldn’t let me take pictures inside the Starbucks even though we begged (corporate policy), so we took our drinks outside. Now this picture is dated, ha, because now they’ve changed the logo.

Then we walked over to Christopher Columbus park because it was Christopher Columbus Day! Okay, I didn’t realize this until after the fact, but I thought it would be cool to add that part in. ![]()

Making silly faces at the harbor!

One of my favs from the session.

Rhonda is a photographer too, and she wanted me to take a behind the scenes shot of her in action! So we ended up having a mini-session during our session! So fun!

the silly face one is definitely the best by far in my opinion…
These are brilliant
Despite my total aversion to most things ‘Starbucks,’ I think that one is my favorite.
Well done
